We stayed here for state wrestling it was an easy quick drive in to century center. The owner and front desk was super nice and helpful. They repeatedly asked if we were happy and if we needed anything. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus. While it wasn't fancy it served our purposes. For me personally I felt like the water when I showered wasn't hot enough but i like super hot water so that is pretty subjective. The beds were very soft and comfortable. Our room had a nice size tv with direct tv service, plus a microwave,fridge and coffee maker. There was a pool and hot tub but we were told it is under renovation so it wasn't open.
The room was clean, and there was a big screen TV with several pay channels like Cinemax and HBO. Breakfast was cereal, yogurt, and coffee. The hotel was very quiet. The only complaint I have is that the mattress was too firm for me.
Hotel was kind of plain. Like the remodel isn't quite finished yet. However, clean rooms and friendly service.
They were very kind. When they saw us struggling with a bunch of luggage they switched us from the second to the first floor. Rooms were not my preferred color scheme, but they were clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
Management is currently updating. The pool is closed for remodeling. If you like soft sheets and a firm mattress, this is the place for you! Everything was clean, and there were no strong odors. Breakfast was basic, but good. It is a bit on the outskirts of town, so there is no safe way to walk anywhere. I might stay here again if I don't plan on leaving the hotel.
I have spent the last week residing in the DeSoto In & Suites. The rooms are great size. I have all the room I need to store multiple duffel bags full of personal effects, a full size cooler, a Nu Wave Oven, and an extra large duffel bag with work equipment. The room is clean. The room has been cleaned very well every day by the staff while I am at work. The best part of staying at this hotel is that, despite it being a for profit business, the staff treated me as family. The staff maintain a family environment, and accommodated my every need. If I have an opportunity to stay at this hotel again, I will.
I had my trip to hotel, and it was a great stay I would be recommending the same, since I am coming from outside staff was cooperative and provided me a great comfortable stay. Quite good to visit the same and sooner will do it again
Even though I gave slightly above average stars on rooms service and location it is only because this is a chain cookie cutter budget hotel. Rooms were clean as well as bedding and the bathrooms. However, due to a recent storm in the Omaha area we were left without power for several days and had no choice but to rent some rooms in the summer heat wave. While Omaha area hoteliers were charging rapacious prices for rooms the manager of the Missouri Valley location gave me a discount! Saying that during natural disasters such as this one , people should look out for one another! Kudos and good Karma for you Mr. PATEL!
